Sask. teens arrested in Ont. for cross-country joyride in stolen truck

An 18-year-old man and 16-year-old girl from Saskatchewan are accused of going on a lengthy joyride after stealing a truck in Alberta.

The pair ended up being arrested in Ontario last week following a gas theft in the northern community of Beardmore.

Police say the driver of the truck refused to pull over but it was ultimately found about 30 kilometres north of Hornepayne.

Police say the man is facing nine charges including dangerous driving, while the girl is charged with eight offences including theft.
